An old antique map of Cape Mesurado, Liberia, also known as Cape Montserrado. It features a detailed view of the harbor and the mouth of the Saint Paul River. This copperplate engraving, with hand coloring, provides a historical insight into the geography of the region.

Cartographer/Mapmaker:
Jacques Nicolas Bellin (1703 – 21 March 1772) was a renowned French hydrographer and member of the Académie de Marine and the Royal Society of London. Over his 50-year career, Bellin produced numerous maps for France's Ministère de la Marine.

Engraved by:
Jakob van der Schley (also known as Jakob van Schley), a Dutch engraver who studied under Bernard Picart.
