Cartographer: Petrus Bertius (ook Peter Bertius; Dutch naam: Pieter de Bert. ( 1565 - 1629) was een Vlaams theoloog, historicus, geograaf en cartograaf. Bertius was also connected by marriage to Jodocus Hondius and Pieter van den Keere, his brothers-in-law and both cartographers.
Publisher: Jodocus Hondius, Amsterdam, also named Judocus Hondius and his Dutch name: Joost de Hondt a Flemish cartographer , active in London and Amsterdam, and best known as the publisher of the atlases from Gerardus Mercator. After Jadocus death, the widow with her seven children continued publishing the atlases under the name of Jodocus Hondius till 1620. References: Van der Krogt 3, 9630:342.
