Description: Beautiful Antique Colored Map of Ancient North Africa with Sicilia, Illustrating the Ancient Geography of the Barbary Coast of current Morocco through the Tripoli Region of Libya.

Mapmaker: Nicolas Sanson (1600–1667) was a French cartographer.
He was of an old Picardy family of Scottish descent, near Abbeville, on December 20th or 31st, 1600, and was educated by the Jesuits at Amiens.
