Cartographer: N. Sanson. Sanson was educated at the Jesuits in Amiens . At the age of 18 he worked on a map of Gaul and years later, in 1627, aroused interest in the cardinal de Richelieu . He taught both Louis XIII of France and Louis XIV of France in geography .
