Description: Early French antique map shows the rise of the Frankish Empire, the Kingdom of the Franks, (Frankish Empire) was the largest post-Roman Barbarian kingdom in Western Europe. It was ruled by the Franks during Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages.

Original antique hand colored copper plate engraving.

Condition: A fine antique map in very good overall condition, folds as published. Two tiny tears in border repaired.
