(Somba Opu) Somba Opu Fortress of the Sultanate of Gowa was built by Raja Gowa 9 Daeng Matanre karaeng Tumpa'risi 'Kallon in the 16th century. The fort is located at Jalan Daeng Tata, Village Somba Opu, District Barombong, Gowa regency, South Sulawesi.
