Title: Cesion de I’Isle d’Otahiti au Capitaine Wallis par la Reine Oberea.

Old voyage print of the decision of Tahiti Island in French Polynesia to Captain Wallis by Queen Purea (Oberea) of Tahiti.

Wallis himself was ill and remained in his cabin, Tobias Furneaux was the first to set foot, hoisting a pennant and turning a turf, taking possession in the name of His Majesty.
