Description: Historical map of Germany Postal service in the late 17th begin 18th century,  showing the postal routes from Germany to other countries by diligence with an decorative title cartouche with coat of arms at higher left.

 

Mapmaker: Petrus Schenck, (Schenk the elder) (1660 – 1711) was a German engraver and cartographer active in Amsterdam and Leipzig.

Pieter junior Schenk (1693 - 1775) joined his father in Amsterdam and Leipzig were also Dutch paintings were trade.
