Artist: Fischer, Otto (Leipzig, 1870 - Dresden, 1947) Otto Fischer one of Germany's most famous etchers and painters at the beginning of the twentieth century, Otto Fischer studied at the Dresden Academy, under Preller and Hermann Prell. From 1894 to 1914. Otto Fischer participated in many exhibitions throughout Europe and America. He then assumed the post of Professor of Art at the Dresden Academy.
Today the art of Otto Fischer is included in major museums in Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Breslau, Budapest and at the Albertina, Vienna.
