Christophorus Cellarius (real name: Christoph Keller, (1638 -1707 was professor of rhetoric and history at the newly founded University of Halle. He promoted through its publications not only the Latin linguistics, but also the science of history. (Copperplates from Cellarius are used in various publications after his death.)
