The woodblock is outstretched by the monogramist C.S. (pictured with chisel) is made in 1548 by the printmaker Hans Rudolf Manuel Deutsch (RMD).
Author: Sebastian Munster a German writer, historicus, mapmaker, cartographer, cosmographer born in Ingelheim Germany. Münster completed his studies at the Universität Tübingen in 1518 led by Johannes Stöffler.
