There's a lot of legends, tales and stories woven into the names of Venice's bridges, with the story of the Ponte de le Tette simply being one of the juicier and therefore oft-retold ones.
Artist: Ludwig Passini was the son of the engraver Johann Nepomuk Passini. After his first art lessons from his father, he could go to art school of his hometown, where he was mostly students of the painter Joseph Führich and Leopold Kupelwieser. 1850 Passini twisted together with his parents in Trieste. A little later he settled in Venice where he was in the studio of Karl Werner designed the watercolor painter, and later he accompanied Werner on his study tour of Italy.
