Title: Hic est Ditus Oppidi Rijberckgiae cum a suj Excellentia de Naszou.

Description: Early Bird's-eye plan of the fortification Rijberg Germany with troops on the Rijn river.
Rheinberg was taken for the second time from Spanish troops by prince Maurits van Nassau on July 30th 1602.

Cartographer: Jacob Roelofs van Deventer, was a Dutch cartographer who made the oldest series of maps of Dutch cities of his time.
He became in 1543 Royal Geographer.

Condition: 17th century antique map with small marginal restorations. (insect holes) It is a beautiful and unique example of early cartography.
