Description: Scare map of West Friesland, the Netherlands with parts of (East) Friesland how it was in ancient times.
The copper map shows the Dutch isles Wieringen Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, and a part of Urk in the Zuider Zee (South Sea).
The large title cartouche with Putti and mile scale shows Neptune the God of freshwater and the sea.

Cartographer: Menso Alting son of Henricus Alting, Mayor of Groningen.
Engraved by de Broen and published by François Halma and Henry Wetstein.
Origin: Tooneel der Vereenigde Nederlanden.
