The Battle of Dunkirk, in the Franco-Spanish war ( 1635 - 1659 ). It takes place on June 14, 1658, and ended with a victory of the French and English armies at 24 May 1658. On June 25, 1658, the city went to the French. On the same evening Louis XIV handed it to Olivier Cromwell. The 'crazy day' had just occurred: in the day of 24 hours the city was Spanish, French and eventually English.
