Artists: Hermann Hultzsch was born in Dresden in 1837. Already at the age of 15 he sculpted the portrait of a friend who showed his artistic talent. A bust of the founder of the Lauchhammer foundry was also made for Count Einsiedel before he began his studies. From 1854 to 1861 Hultzsch studied at the Dresden Art Academy and became a master student in Ernst Rietschel's studio,
