In the top edge the title: Comitatus Zutphaniae Et Fluminis Isulae Nova Delineatio Auctore F. de Wit.
Compass rose bottom left at the edge. Bottom right the coat of arms of the County of Zutphen adorned with the source god of the IJssel and two little angels.
To the left of this is the scale with angels with measuring equipment.
The cities are very clearly represented with their fortifications.
The IJssel as a whole is on the map, a large part of the map is also devoted to Overijssel.
Publisher's address at the bottom, left of the center: Amsterdam with Frederick de Wit in the Kalverstraet at den Dam in the Witte Pascaert.

The same cartouche appears on the Rhine map of Nicolaes Visscher.

Upon his death in 1706, the company was continued for a while by his widow Maria until 1709.
In 1710, De Wit's plates were sold to Mortier, Van der Aa and Renard.
