Description: Decorative antique old atlas map of West Vlaanderen (West Flanders) centered around Bruges / Brugge, with Oostende, Oudenburg, Plassendale, Diksmuide, Damme and many fortifications. (in the time of the Spanish Netherlands.)

Mapmaker: Nicolaes Visscher II (1649-1702)

N. Visscher II, 1649 – 1702. His widow Elizabeth Verseyl took after his dead over the case. Various titles were reissued. After her death in 1726, the publishing house was taken over by Andries de Leth. Fairly some copper plates came in the hands of Pieter Schenk and Carel Allard.
